Cheryl Lynn Dittrich, 63, of Mercer passed away on January 22, 2024 at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh after a brief battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born on July 3, 1960 in Virginia Beach, VA to the late Phillip and Carol (Szura) Dittrich, Sr. After graduating from high school Cheryl attended Penn State University. She worked for numerous years in retail at places like Guiseppe’s, Macy’s and most recently Burger King.

Cheryl is survived by her siblings: Sharon (Kevin) Neely, Rebecca (Michael) Forrester, both of Mercer, and Michael (Shannon) Dittrich, of Arnold, MD; nieces and nephews: Tara, Zachary, Arielle, Asher and Julian; and a special friend, John (Jack) Bell, of Mercer.

In addition to her parents Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Karen, and her brothers Phillip and Jason.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S. Erie Street, Mercer. Cheryl requested that her services be private.
