Sara J. Huston

Sara Jane (Sally) Huston, 90, of Mercer passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at her residence in Tushim Manor surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born in New Castle on April 26, 1933 to the late Robert R. and Sarah F. (Buxton) Shingledecker. On June 19, 1951 she married her beloved husband, Harry (Bill) Huston, who preceded her in death on May 9, 1989. Sally worked as a secretary at Snyders Pontiac, Buick, GMC for many years. Sally is survived by her two daughters, Roberta J. (Larry) Parker, of Austintown, OH and Susan K. (Dick) Chapin, of Mercer; three grandchildren, Douglas Landfair, of Mercer, Rikki Lynn (Blaine) Winger, of Columbiana, OH and Richard (Jessica) Chapin, of Mercer; and four great-grandchildren, Parker & Reagan Winger and Katelyn & Landon Sally was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation & Funeral Center, Inc., 200 S. Erie Street, Mercer, PA. Per Sallys wishes there will be no services.
