Sandra Ridgway-Bachelder

Sandra RidgwayBachelder of Mercer passed away September 20th after a brief illness at her home surrounded by her family. Sandra was born on January 23. 1967 to the late Harold and Dorothy (Dick) Wareham. She leaves behind her loving husband Douglas whom she married March 10, 2006. Sandra was a Lakeview High School graduate and went on to continue her education at ITT Tech where she earned her associate in accounting. Then on to Thiel earning her bachelor's degree in education. She went on to use her education as a paralegal at VOCE for 12 years, social worker for Bair Foundation for ten years, accountant at First National Bank for 10 yrs. and owned and operated the Donut Place and Greyhound Bus Station in Mercer. She was also a member of the Mercer Optimist Club. Sandra had a great love for her husband, family, spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and adopting dogs from local shelters. She was a very kind and loving person with so much to give. In addition to her husband Douglas Bachelder, left to cherish her memory are her children: Kristin(Michael) Emmett of Greenville, Pa, Brandon(Brittney) Ridgway, Austintown, OH, Katie(Rob) Robello Clarksville, TN, Jay (Lucy) McInnes Indiana, Pa , Grandchildren: Nolan, Natalie, Carter and Rylee along with Brothers: Dale, Steve and John Wareham and Brother in law Bob Walters. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sharon Walters. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation & Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S Erie St , Mercer where visitation will be from 10 am 11 am on Saturday, September 23rd. A private family service will follow immediately after visitation.
