Michael Lee Patterson

Michael Lee Patterson, 62, of Wolfcreek Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Heritage Valley Hospital in Beaver. Michael was born on April 5, 1962 in Grove City to Donald G. and Virginia L. (Bell) Patterson.

Michael was a mechanic for over twenty-five years in Warren, OH. When he was not working you could find him spending time outside fishing or hunting. He also enjoyed watching his wife pull trucks and watching NASCAR. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Recently he spent time teaching them how to ride 4 Wheelers.

On June 24, 1989 Michael married his beloved wife, Mary Lisa Emery, and they had been married for thirty-five years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father, Donald G. Patterson, Sr., and his companion, Thelma Sowers; his daughter, Melissa L. (Daniel) Nicely; his grandchildren: Olivia Jean Nicely and Josey Mae Nicely; his brother, Donald G. (Mary) Patterson, Jr.; nieces, a nephew, 3 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.

Michael was preceded in death by his mom, his Grandfather, Harry Bell, aunts and uncles and his friend, Joseph Gainsly.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation & Funeral Center, Inc., 200 S. Erie Street, Mercer, PA 16137 where family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. A funeral service will follow visitation at 6:00 PM with Rev. Eric Peters, of Fredonia Presbyterian Church officiating. Full Military Honors will follow the service.
