Margaret J. 'Peggy' Paden

Margaret "Peggy" Jean Paden passed away at UPMC Horizon-Greenville on May 2, 2024. She was born on November 6, 1944, to the late Alvie Blackson and Alice Knauf Blackson. Peggy worked as a secretary for Sharon Regional in the Behavioral Health department. At home, she spent time nourishing her beautiful yard by gardening and feeding all of the wonderful birds that visited. She enjoyed auto racing, and she and her husband William attended car shows in their street rod together. She loved her dogs like they were her own children, she had three beloved ones: Dixie, Harley, and Max. Peggy married her husband on May 6, 1971. They spent 52 lovely years together. He survives at home. Peggy is survived by her son Andy Paden and stepson William (Molly) Paden, and her grandchildren Zach (Kassandra), Alex, and Isaac (Kathleen) Paden, great-grandchildren Grace and Robert Paden, and her two sisters, Yvonne Hanser and Norma Munoz, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Benjamin at birth, and a daughter in utero. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc., 200 S.
