Lyle Murphy

Lyle Murphy, 79, of Mercer, PA, passed away suddenly at AHN Wexford on January 1, 2024. Lyle was born to Eugenia and Lyle L. Murphy Sr. on December 21, 1944. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelors degree and worked in financial services for the bulk of his career. Lyle married his devoted wife, Mary Elizabeth, on November 29, 1972. He leaves behind his loving wife and one daughter, Caitlin (Mark) Bicker. Lyle is also survived by three grandchildren: Amelia, Scout, and Dash. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, 200 S. Erie Street, Mercer, PA 16137 A memorial service will be held at a later date.
