Kurt William Miller Sr.

Kurt W. Miller Sr., 78, of Sharon, PA, passed away on January 28, 2025. Kurt was born to the late Jefferson A. and Ruby Mae (Young) Miller on July 15, 1946. 

Kurt married the love of his life, Mary Ann Bish, on June 13, 1970.

Kurt loved the lord and his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his violin, and singing. He sang with several gospel groups. Kurt enjoyed his work, working on the floating dam and the Monolah Basin as well as several other companies and local land owners. Kurt loved learning and was always continuing his education. Kurt will be dearly missed by his darling wife and family. Kurt was also essential in raising his grandson. 

Kurt is survived by his wife, and their children; Kurt W. Miller Jr. and Katie Mae (Dan) Miller. He is survived by his grandson, Eriol Bender, and his granddaughter, Nienna (Josh Wolf) Bender as well as his great-grandchildren, Bella, Bobby, and Evie Wolf. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews; Stephanie Miller Nye, Robert J. Miller, Michael J. Miller, David J. Miller Jr., John J. Miller. Kurt is survived by his sister-in-law, Joann Rogers Miller, as well as several great nieces and nephews. 

Kurt is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Robert Jefferson Miller Sr. and David Jefferson Miller Sr., his nephew; Terry Nye, and his sister-in-law; Nancy McCleary Miller. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S Erie St. Mercer, PA 16137. There will be no services at this time.
