Kimberly Palmer, 59, of Greenville, PA, passed away after a bout of health issues at UPMC Hamot of February 9, 2024. Kimberly was born to Edith J Martin and Martin L Palmer on November 25, 1964 in Caracas, Venezuela. Kimberly earned her Associates Degree from Lord Fairfax Community College before pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. Kimberly maintained a great deal of interests through her life. She was a fan and lover of music, and she especially enjoyed listening to ABBA. Kimberly held a special place in her in heart for animals of all kinds, particularly her cats and dogs. Kimberly had a passion for photography and computers that she used as a tool for another one of her great joys in life. As Kimberly was an avid reader of romance novels, she would often use her knowledge of photography and computers to create videos about the romance novels she would read. Most importantly, she had an immense love for her family. A big piece of her love for her family also came from her interest in the history of the family and the time she spent researching her genealogy. Kimberly was often referred to as the fun aunt or the glue that kept the family connected, not letting distance or anything else stand in the way of her and her family. Left to cherish Kimberlys memory are her siblings; Craig (Brenda) Palmer, Elizabeth (Robert) Baldesberger, Debbie (Mike) Henson. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Robert (Karen) Baldesberger III, Megan (Jarrod) Britton, Andrew Palmer, Katelynn (Michael) Amato, Karen (Alex Herrera) Palmer, Cameron Palmer, and Jacob Hamman. Kimberly is survived by her great- nieces and great-nephews: Robert Baldesberger IV, Rachel Britton, Aizalyn Baldesberger, Logan Britton, Jacob Demmler, and Johnathan Demmler. Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S. Erie Street, Mercer.
