Judith Irene Redmond

Judith Irene Redmond ,80, of Mercer passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on

October 27, 2024. Judith worked as a CNA at various locations after leaving Mercer High

School.

Judith was a woman of Christian faith. She loved bird watching and seeing all different types of

birds and other wildlife. Judith enjoyed crocheting, making everything from hats to stuffed

animals for those around her. Judith always would go to lunch with her girls whenever they

could. She was a thrill seeker, being scared of her own shadow yet still being an avid fan of

scary movies. She loved her pets, especially her dog “Freckles”. Judith held her family close to

her heart and loved her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids with everything in her.

Judith is survived by her children William (Jeanne) Redmond Jr. and Lori (James W.,JR)

Amon. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nicole Magoon, William (Stacy) Redmond

III, James R. (Tara) Amon, and Katelyn I. Amon. Judith also leaves behind her

great-grandchildren Hunter and Brooklyn Redmond, and London Magoon. Judith’s brother,

Leslie Paden Sr., also is left to cherish her memory.

Along with her parents, Judith is preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Paden.
