Geraldine Mae Reitmeyer

Geraldine (Gerry) M. Reitmeyer, 85, of Mercer, PA, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 13, 1939, to the late Margaret Kovach and Joseph Supan in Bridgeville, PA.

Gerry married her beloved late husband Donald Reitmeyer on September, 24, 1960.

Gerry was a former member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Bridgeville, PA and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary VFW Post #7465. She loved her family fiercely; she adored being a mother and grandmother. She had a deep love of cooking and cherished bringing people together around a shared meal. Gerry had a remarkable ability to bring warmth to every room she entered.

Gerry is survived by her children, Debra (Thomas) Wimer, Dawn (Brian) Guy, and her son-in- law Mike Farrell; her grandchildren, Danielle and Adam Wimer, Justin and Nathan Guy, and Michael Farrell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gerry’s family would also like to thank the staff at Orchard Manor for the care, compassion and kindness shown during her time there, especially two of her favorite aides Amanda and Sam.

Gerry is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and daughter, Kimberly Farrell.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Care, Inc.200 S Erie St. Mercer, PA 16137. Per Gerry’s wishes, there will be no services.
