Dorothy M. Williams

Dorothy M Williams, 86, of New Castle, PA, passed away of a short illness December 18, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. She was born February 3, 1938, to the late Ethel Doyle and George Mcconnell in New Wilmington. PA. She was married for 61 years to Mainard Williams who passed away in 2022. Mrs Williams was a retired director for the City Rescue Mission Covenant House Ministries. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as Church activities. 

She is survived by a son Michael E Williams of New Castle, a grandson Michael R Williams of New Castle and a sister Sharon Tenser of Durham North Carolina. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Mainard and her parents. 

A memorial service will be held at Highland Presbyterian Church, 708 Highland Ave, New Castle, PA 16101, at 11:00 a.m. Friday January 3, 2025, with Pastor Richard Kinney officiating.
