Christine Paden

Christine A. Paden, 57, of Mercer, PA, passed away peacefully at home on September 26,2024. Christine was born on December 25, 1966 in Mercer County and has not left since. Christine worked as an Optometrist and had her Associates Degree in Psychology. She was extremely involved in her work and was known as one of the hardest workers. In her time away from work, Christine explored many different passions. She loved doing macrame, being outside, and going on hikes. She was an auxiliary member of the Mercer VFW and she loved visiting the VFW for Bingo. Amongst her other passions, her family was Christines biggest. She cherished the time spent with her children and her grandchildren. She adored being able to watch her grandkids play sports, go to school, and grow up through the years. Christine would never miss a sporting event for one of her grandkids. She loved being with her family and spending time with them all. And she would want it to be well known that her family included her cats Farrell and Christine. Christine is survived by her daughters; Cassie (Steve Knight) Michael and Monica (Travis) Schaa. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Nicolas, Jordan, Cameron, Preston, Tila, Adelina, Carter, and Broox, as well as many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. Christine is also survived by her siblings Erin, Harry, and James Dora. Christine is preceded in death by her father, Rudy Davis, and her brothers; Stevie, Mike, and Denny Dora. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S Erie St. Mercer, PA 16137. There will be no public services according to Christines wishes.
