Barbara Jean Meacham

Barbara Jean (Mills) Meacham, 73, of Mercer passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025. Barbara was born to the late Helen Harrington and W.T. Mills on April 30, 1951. Barabara spent most of her career as a machine operator at GKN in Emporium.

Barbara was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed spending her time cross-stitching. Barabara was always a fan of the movies, as long as it had a good story in it. She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, McKenzie, and her nieces and nephews.

Barbara is survived by her children, Dawna (Dennis) Wescott and Michael (Kory) Meacham; her granddaughter, McKenzie (Logan) Stuckey; her sisters, Mary Ladnier, Shelona Wilson, Belinda Flutz, and Marlena Boyd; her brothers, Thomas Mills and Donald “Ray” (Nancy) Mills; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, and her foster parents, Bill and Ruby Dunaway. Barbara also is preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Robert Mills.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S Erie St. Mercer, PA 16137. There will be no services at this time.
