Barbara Jo Hennessey

Barbara Jo Hennessy, 60, of Fredonia, passed away on May 10, 2024 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Originally from Grove City, Barbara was born on August 22, 1963 to the late Samuel and Mary Moore Sr. Barbara was described as someone with a Heart of Gold who was known to many as "Mom or Grandma" even though they might not have been her biological family. She loved everyone. Her door was open to all, never turning anyone away, even her special raccoon "Cuddles". She loved her family endlessly and her children and Grand Children were her world. She was an excellent cook and was famous for her "Chicken Sh**" Dish. Her motto for life was "When you see someone in need Help them!" Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jeremy Blakley, Amie Coon, Ashley Shearer, her sisters: Connie McConnell and Debbie Holmes, Brothers: Herbie Moore and Randy Moore. Eight Grandchildren, one Great Grand Child and several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her Brother: Sam Moore, Infant Sister: Terri Ann Moore, and Beloved companion Kevin Miller. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation & Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S. Erie St., Mercer Pa 16137. As per her request there will be no services.
