Albert "Al" L. Heister

Albert “Al” L. Heister, Jr., 63, passed away on November 12, 2024, at AHN Grove City

Hospital. Al was the son of the late Sally and Albert L. Heister, Sr, born on May 2,1961.

Al served his country in the United States Marine Corps for over four years. He was a

member of The Chapel at Mercer. He was also a member of AA and made many friends in

his group.

Al is survived by his daughter, Kassy Diana Kreutz-Heister; his siblings, Kathy (Tim) Nelson,

Cheryl Redmond, Terry (Tom) Hazen, and Gloria (Brett) Petrie; Al is also survived by his

nieces and nephews, Alexander(Jamie), Derrick, Rachel, Nick and his fiancé,, and Betty ‘Punkin’; and many great nieces

and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his grandparents, his brother, James

Heister; sister, Connie Robbins; brother-in-law Richard ‘Super’ Redmond; and several

aunts and uncles.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation and Funeral

Center, Inc., 200 S Erie St, Mercer, PA, 16137. There will be a memorial service for Al held at

The Chapel at Mercer, 300 S Pitts St, Mercer, PA, 16137. on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at

6pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the funeral home, Rose

Simplicity Cremation and Funeral Center, Inc., to offset funeral costs.
