Taking on the day with a positive attitude 

A simple shift in your daily routine could decipher your whole mood & perception for the day. Of course as well, the way you speak to yourself internally when you wake up. Coming from my own experiences, your internal dialogue is one of the most powerful sources that could either make or break you. Simply making the change of waking up earlier and getting a couple more hours of sleep alone could make a difference. Your mind & body needs time to recharge itself. If you wake up in the morning, and say to yourself “ugh I don’t want to get up, today Is going to suck. I’m exhausted” Well, what do you think your day going forward is going to look like? Yup, u guessed it , it is going to be a horrible day. I think a lot of us forget about how powerful our mind can really be. It could play more tricks on you than you could ever believe. It has the capability to rule not only your mentality , but also your body physically. So if this sounds pretty accurate about how your morning looks like as soon as you awake, make a couple simple changes. Once you change the way you create the day with your imagination, the next step to overcoming the day & any challenges you may encounter is to look at yourself and smile. Truly smile and think about the simplicity of life. Give yourself just even 1-2 minutes to think about all the things in your life that you are appreciative of & that you are blessed to have been given. A lot of us tend to look past these blessings and beg to have more. “Well I have this and that but it’s really not enough I am still unhappy” This will give you a time to reflect about the gifts of life you are given and make you realize that what you have , a lot of others don’t or never did have. Even just simply showing gratitude for things such as family, good friends, having a roof over your head etc. All materialistic things are great for a temporary feeling of happiness, but the true happiness in your life, are the things & people that can’t be taken from you because you cant put a price on genuine happiness. After doing that, make sure you take a simple step outside and breathe. Just let your mind be still. Live in the present moment & try to be aware of the animals, nature & sounds going on around you. You may be shocked to realize just how much we take for granted. Take in sunlight, and try to train your mind to appreciate the beauty of simple things that are right in front of your eyes. Remind yourself that there’s many people that aren’t able to experience these moments due to disabilities or what not. Take on the day with a big smile and grateful heart. You have the ability to change your whole life , so start making some changes 🌞
